Huddersfield is easily accessible by road or train from anywhere in England. The M1 and the M62 pass within a 10 mile radius of the town.

From the North
Take the A1 or M1 south as appropriate, then take the M62 west. Exit at Junction 25 on the M62, turn left and follow signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A621).
From the North West
Go south on the M6 and M61 towards Manchester, then take the M62 East (for a section it has been renamed the M60 Manchester orbital). Leave the M62 at Junction 24, follow the signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A629 Halifax Road into Huddersfield).
From the South and South East
Take the M1 north and exit at Junction 38. Follow the A637 towards Flockton and Grange Moor. Then take aright at the A642 roundabout to Huddersfield.
From the South West
Take the M6 north towards Manchester then take the M62 east (for a section it has been renamed the M60 Manchester orbital). Then Leave the M62 at Junction 24, follow the signs for Huddersfield Town Centre (A629 Halifax Road into Huddersfield).

From the town centre the library is a 10-15 minute walk, or a 3 minute drive from the ring road. From the town centre make your way to Queensgate on the ring road, then turn on to Chapel Hill. Continue past the traffic lights at the bottom of Chapel Hill and onto Lockwood road. From there take the third right at Internet Computers on Lockwood road. Continue on to the end of the road and the library is situated on your left.
